- Depends how long you will be staying in Singapore? 28-29 Indian Rupees equate to 1 Singapore dollar. Therefore, for one days shopping only (not including accomodation), at an approximate 300 dollars, would equate to 8400-8700 Rupees. For a three day stay, 25200-26100 Rupees. This also depends on what you intend to buy, how long you plan to stay, and what you intend to do. I hope this helps. Malaysian Ringat is much cheaper than Singapore, and therefore much more cost effective holiday wise, in Malaysia.
- You had better change the money into Singapore Dollars. You will probably need more than you think!!
- Very difficult even to give you a rough estimate. The best thing to do is to apply for a credit card or get a supplementary card from dad. Then you can shop till you drop.
- 50K to 100K INR
- Depends on your needs... even if no electronics, u need to be more specific in what you are looking for... e.g. branded stuff / cosmetics / handbags / sportswears or equipment / handicrafts / accessories / cheap imports from china/thailand etc.... To give u an idea of the this... a non branded (NB) T-shirt cost anything from S$5 - S$20; a NB pair of ladies shoes/thongs S$ 8 - S$40; a simple meal at little india food centres S$3 - S$8, restuarants S$10 - S$25 per person... S$1 = 30 Rupees generally, NB stuff & food are cheaper in malaysia.
