indian money?

just a question, i am not money hungry. Do native americans, NOT associated with casinos, get 'indian money' every yr.? I want to know if its true or not. We are a miltary family, so we know what it is like to live off of nothing, and $5 a yr won't matter, neither would $300. I just want to find out if its true or not. Hubby is 1/16th native american, and our son is 1/32

  2. not sure
  3. The only Indian money that I know about is the money in India. And down there they don't call it "Indian" money. Its called Rupee. Comes in handy for when you want to buy stuff down there.
  4. Short answer: NO The 'monthly check' is a myth! Long answer: Unless you are an ENROLLED TRIBAL MEMBER of a tribe that either operates a casino or has other land, mineral, water royalties coming in, you get nothing. Less than 5% of tribes have enough income to distribute per capita payments to their tribal members. The other 95% of tribes do not benefit from the wealth of other tribes.
