China and India the worlds next super powers?

In 30 years time the world is going to change completely, by that time China will be the worlds next biggest super power through it's economy wealth and technology and India will have the worlds biggest population and will overtake China and will have the worlds second biggest economy by that time and it will be a co super power alongside China. Both China and India already have the worlds fastest growing economies and China at the moment has the 4th largest economy with America having the 1st largest economy United Kingdom the 2nd largest economy and Japan the 3rd largest economy. When China becomes the worlds biggest superpower how do you think it will effect and influence the world and do you think it will be as supportive to other countries like America has.

  1. I see you interested in Global powers and Global economics so let me enlighten you. As of 2007 the world economic rankings are. 1 United States $2,660,000,000,000 2 Japan $1,639,000,000,000 - 7 China $489,600,000,000 19 India $143,800,000,000 (Part 1-Economics). Economics suspect that China will become the next economic superpower in the next10 yrs not 30. India`s population will eventually outgrow its economic development. In the next 10 yrs. I susupect India will drop in ranking because the demand on their economy placed by the growing population will outweigh India`s production.China`s popultation on the other hand remains fairly steady b/c China has laws that dictate how many kids a family can have. By law Husband and Wife are allowed 2 kids max. Also The rise in China`s economy comes from industrialization of rural areas. Ppl in rural areas make up the majority of China`s population a 10% increase in production from chin`s rural population change practically raise China`s standing from 7 to 4 overnight. Therefore we can agree China and not India has great future economic potential. Part 2-(Superpower) People that state China will become the next world Superpower on the basis of its growing economy and influence, are either in fear or they don`t understand what a Superpower is. To become a Superpower a Nation must be a world leader in Economy - Technology - and Influence. China will NEVER become a superpower. Througout history and even to this day China has ALWAYS been an isolationist nation. The majority of wars fought by China have been in China. The chinese have NO INTEREST in controlling world politics unlike the US and fomer Soviet Union .China is all about defending herself and her terrioty i.e. Korean war fought between China and Us is b/c allied forces where headed near terriorty. Think about the (Great wall of China) its symbolic of Chinese world politics. They will whole heartedly defend themselves but rest assure unlike North Korea...China`s nuculear areasenal is for defense. China`s in position in NATO is another example. Nato cannot predict nor influence Chinese postitions/actoins. On the other hand China is not a leader in Nato decisions. Based on the examples provided you one can conclude that China will never become a Super-Power b/c they lack influence. China`s does not want to control the world. China`s aim is to exist in isoation to the rest of world!
  2. Both China and India are growing rapidly and there is no question in my mind that they will become large and influential economic powers. Weather they elect to be as supportive as America has been is open to question. America is a strong capitalistic country who supports other countries simply because it is profitable to do so. China is still communistic which may indicate she will ultimately be more concerned with her own country. If China is somehow drawn into capitalistic pursuits, she may well emulate America and seize the opportunity to profit(support) other countries. India is socialistic, but the same conditions apply to her future support for other countries.
