Comparative Essay on China and India for World Geography?

I have to write a one page essay on this prompt "Compare the ways in which India and China are developing economically" I looked through our book and I didnt find much, definitly not enough for a one page essay with good content. Economic development involves the human capital aspects as well as economic indicators. Growth really just says GDP grew this much and this much. I hope your teacher realizes that distinction. What little I have done over India and China in my Economics of Development class involves how they have gone about population growth. China of course has the strict one child policy, and India, despite some crazy forced sterlizations in the past, has come around and started educating people about family size etc. The most progress has been in Kerala.
