big oil is personaly watching as the last drops of oil are extracted from the ground. we are all getting around in pick-ups and v-8s whilst some opt to save the world by choosing a lpg or hybrid v-10 supercharged hummer (the hollywoods types that is). world leaders china, india, russia and iran meet to discuss adopting the kyoto protocol but decide against it because it will strangle the economy. africa is now blooming, its billion strong population have all died from aids, hunger and civil war, leaving 100000 corupt politicians and generals to reap foreign aid. antarctica is being mined with ice bergs being extracted and changed to water, transfered by tanker. the people of china still strugle to feed their families but the communist government doesnt quibble about spending 100'000'000'000 opening new factories and launching spyng satellites. the good president of the united states takes his posse (john howard and johns wife) to meet with chin...

1. You are on crack. Anyone with any knowledge of supply and demand knows that oil will never reach $2000 a barrel (unless there is 1000% inflation) and if any of these things happen ever they will not be happening 25 years from now.

If gas was indeed $2584/ barrel, minimum wage would be roughly $268/hr using the laws of supply and demand and equitable compensation spread across the entire world economy. BTW - Cut back on the crack, you're driving the price through the friggin roof. It's going to be tough to keep the masses enslaved at this rate.
