- Those people need to be sterilized in order to control population and save the global economy.
- India is exporting its surplus population to the rest of the world and drives down the quality of life in 1st world countries. India population will keep on growing no matter what the rest of the world is doing.
- I do not understand why Indira Gandhi is seen in a negative image, though she was attempting to gain authoritative control of the government, she would have used it to save India from popular politics, as India is never going to vote for a party the runs on the platform of sterilizing its poor as these are the people that rule, but it is also this class of people that are uneducated and naïve, as it is easy to dupe such people. Therefore most of India’s ills stem from this sector of the society, hence at times I believe, though the poor require a lot of attention, I am not sure they know how to govern themselves and therefore at times I am convinced that the politics of India has to handed over to the nationalistic elite or higher middle class, as it is they who are most educated and thus probably know best how to govern. To answer your question, India’s population has been decreasing consistently for the last ten years, last year it was 1.3% as compared to the US which was 0.8 % therefore simply through information, it has decreased but nonetheless India require a more stringent population control program, but the benefits of the economy currently is growing much faster than the population growth rate, thus purchasing power of average citizens is increasing, so it is unlikely the population will ever grow larger than the economy, but if it continues increasing it may hamper the growth rate.
