I was scammed and they used a yahoo finance transaction to do it. What can I do?
At the bottom of the transaction page it even had job openings for yahoo and their copyright 2006 Yahoo! Inc. All Rights Reserved. The Yahoo trade mark looked just like the one on the web page for yahoo finance. The only reason I even did it was because I have used yahoo for a long time and did not think that they could use yahoo like that to do it. So what are my options now?

- What happened exactly?
- report that exact web site to yahoo. there are plenty of stuff out there that look legit but is fake
- did you put your yahoo id and password in there? if so you had better change both. and hope they dont find out where you live and what your phone # is!!. and immediately report this to yahoo. as far as i know yahoo does not do this i believe they would send something in the regular mail for you if that be the cause. yahoocustomer care@yahoo.com
- Contact Yahoo by phone immediately.
- i was scammed through a purchase online. when the credit card change came through. i desputed it i had the proof it was a scam. i had to pay the 3 months while the dispute went on. then when it all cleared i was refunded by the credit card receipt. also on the other end. i sold something to someone and they disputed it.. and all i had to do was show the proof through the credit card i had a signature. and the purchase went through. so both sides... proof, proof and more proof is critical. and start phoning and be prepared to send faxes and faxes and more..keep all documents and receipts.
