Is Laloo a good replacement for Chidambaram as finance minister of India?

Laloo has come from very ordinary family from Bihar. He knows the pain of hunger very much. Persons like him must be posted to FM instead of those who do not know the pain of hunger and who have graduated from Harward Universities (born with silver spoon). India needs a person who knows the pulse of the last poor Indian. Am I right?

NO WAY! thats like saying saying let the criminals be the judge in the courts, just cos they know what its like to be punished. chidambaram is doing a fair job as FM and is can certainly do better than any othr indian minister. laloo cannot even handle railways leave alone indias growing economy!
2. The task managing the finances of a country should not be given to some tom, dick and harry. Only ably qualified persons should do the job. BTW Mr.Chidambaram is doing a very good job and he's not dissapointing anybody.

4. yes. you are right. only those who committed mistakes can do better. further as you said he is from a poor back ground and more than 70% of indian masses are below poverty line. it is an untrue picture shown to the world by india that india is developping fast by the so called economic revolution after 1992. only those who upper middle class and upper class have grown. lower middle class has gone to poor class and poor became the poorest because of this new economic policy pormulgated by the then fm and the present pm of india. indians are buying consumable and commercial goods from future money (borrowed money from perconal loan and credit cards). it is not from savings. hence it is not a development at all. of course some infra structure development took place. but at the cost of government spendings to poor (out of huge cuts on subsidies to poor) now imagine. only Laloo will be the best FM for india in the present context.
5. Railway budget is the acid test. Laloo is the best. If given chance, he will present the best budget than Chidambaram
6. first of all you should have posted this question in jokes section....i enjoyed the joke..... well.. talking seriously.....the job of FM is not only letting the poor man stay alive...but also to keep india moving ahead.....i believe laloo is a BL( bachlor of law) but the FM post needes a different stream....
