Northern India had massive mountain ranges that protected their north and the Indus and Ganges were great rivers that could be used for travel, transportation, and trade. India includes jungles. broad plains and tropical lowlands. These can produce rice, timber, tropical foods, and land that can be farmed for wheat and other grasses.
