question: why do people say Brazil is a rising economy on par with INDIA and CHINA? India and China definitely?

will be economic powerhouses in the future...but BRAZIL? I've seen Brazilians, no offense but are they not like to the Portuguese what the Mexicans are the to Spaniards? The only thing I picture when someone mentions any South American nation or Mexico is Spanish, Portuguese, drug cartels, Roman Catholicism, and dictators. also, Spain and Portugal are like the third world of Europe...how are the nations they COLONIZED ever going to rise? lol. correction...Third World of WESTERN Europe. correction...Third World of WESTERN Europe. yes agree..but growing at the same rate as India and China?....nonsense.

1. Brazil has a huge and rapidly growing economy. They've also found vast amounts of oil offshore.

4. Comparing Brazil to India is an insult to the Brazilians.
5. Brazil is the 6th economy of the world. SORRY ABOUT THAT!
