1. Plz tell me would U do anything which would ultimately prove U to be thieve or corrupt, I m sure NO, why expecting this from Indian Govt.
2. Who have money in swiss bank accounts? Neither u nor me. Ploiticians, beurocrats, industrialists, underworld people, diamond merchants and other blackmarketiers,bollywood celebrities and local politicians who transfer money through hawala. Unfortunatly for us, they are only in power.will they ever act against their own interest? They will not. They will keep this issue dangling, will give false assurances to people, will try every oppourtunity to divert our attention but will never try to bring back the money. It can happen only when uncorrupt people hold reins in centre as well as state and they are many in number.Sucha thing is less likely to happen because good people in our country rarely enter politics and even if they enter, they would be sidelined or would be eliminated. please take a look at all political parties and u will realise the truth that the existing policians are getting their kids, nephews, nice, brothers, sisters, wives to rule. Where is the chance for a common man? So we willnever know asto who are the people who have accounts in swiss banks and even if we know about it, the people who are involved would go scotfree. U take a look at all the scamstars for last 25-30 years? Barring only few(politicians only wanted to eliminate them) everybody could avoid arrest and are able to walk with pride &vanity. this is the state of affairs.
3. They have already done so many time, through all means but the Swiss Banks are "HARD TO BREAK" they would not budge, once undertaking they have given to their customers, Indian, Americans, British or any Nationality.
4. Yes, they can. If so, definitely Swiss Govt. may help Indian Govt. in disclosing the accounts some of the important celebrities.
5. IF THEY HAD TRIED HARD, THEY WOULD'VE GOT THE LIST MUCH BEFORE LIKE AMERICA. BUT THEY ARE TRYING EACH AND EVERY WAY TO PROCRASTINATE THE ISSUE, AND TO SAVE THE CULPRITS AND TAX EVADERS. BCOS, IT WILL DIRECTLY AFFECT THE FAMILY THAT CONTROLS THE CONGRESS.
6. Thats a welcome step.. Hope govt comes forward and give names to Swiss authorities. The last para of the source mentioned by u is very interesting. It says "Senior BJP leader Balbir Punj said the party would take up the issue and said that following the envoy's statement the Indian government should forward the names of all the members of Parliament and ministers to the Swiss government to ascertain if they had accounts in Swiss banks."
7. Indeed they would, wait some time. When all major party leaders have transferred their money from the swiss account, the list would be called! Lot of them may already be travelling abroad for ''treatments'' or meeting family members abroad, or on ''official works''! You must understand the sensitivity of the Govt - like they look at the Spectrum on par with ''food subsidy''!
8. 'Time managment for the this statement after secrative surgery, which unknown to Indian people, is indicative. Goverment should demand for last 10 year details along with the details of Indian citizen visited to Swees country and how many days they stay there since 2004 to present. By RTI some NGO demand the pasport copies of all suspected which can reveal the truth. Corrupt can't save himself so eassly, foot print are remaine there to say their sin.
