does the barcode scanner app from the android market scan the bar codes on indian products?

I have a micromax A60 mobile phone with Android 2.1 and i recently downloaded the bar code scanner application from the android market but it is not able to scan barcodes of products that are made in india.However it does scan barcodes of foreign products

1. Maybe the bar codes are not in the right format. Try using Google Goggles. This can scan much more things in 1 app :)
