India has the 3rd largest economy in Asia. Srilanka has a one of most highest Literacy rates in Asia with around 92% or something. Will these countries improve or Go down? Srilanka has only 5% living below 1$ per day. India has has around 35% below 1$ per day. I got that from my CBSE economic reader.! Thanks, About the section, this isn't a topic related to cricket but since more people in this section... I posted it here.!

  5. Cricket?
  6. Only countries that going down are westen countries due to Economycal down fall in the westen countries. In the other hand Asian countries were able to maintain or improve their economy. As i rember Sri lanka has the world's 2nd larges Stock exchange. As well as good percentages in Litaracy,Life expectation, etc. India is also doing well as well as Sri Lanka. So finally i can tell you that both countries are going up in economical development. Refer the Asia Bank and World Bank reports ,they will give you the infor you need.
  7. Sri Lanka has much, much better living standards than India, and the Sri Lankan stock exchange was the world's #1 performer in 2009 and 2010. Exports, trade and foreign investment are kicking up and Sri Lanka is fast catching up from the dark days of the India-inflicted war.
  8. SL is the better country to live India is one of the most powerful Both economies of both countries are growing rapidly @ over 8 (SL`s growth rate will increase even more since war is over) & hopefully overtake western countries too within next few decades~
