Will India's economy ever surpass China's?

China is decades ahead on India right now according to economists.However, will India every surpass China's economy to have the largest economy of the world?

1. It is about the quality of life - not about the size of your economy.
2. Since China's economy is more than 4x the size of India's, it would would take decades for that to happen. Predictions that far out would be simply wild guesses. If you want to take a wild guess, I'd say, yes. But only because the answer "never" cannot be demonstrated as correct.
3. Will India's economy ever surpass China's?? As soon as all the American businesses leave China and relocate to India. Already China is a real pain in the neck to do business in. Severe corruption, lousy infrastructure, disregard for the rule of law, labor strikes for higher pay. China is becoming one big business headache. Three American companies have already left China, one went back to Texas and two went to India. The Wall Street Journal predicted that all American businesses will come back to the USA in less than 50 years.
4. yes!! because there are less people in China aged between 20 to 40 due to the fact that once China implemented a rule of not having more than 2 kids on around 1975... but india is center for all Teenagers and Adults..and recently AIRTEL took over the telecommunication of AFRICA from ZAIN Co. so just think?? india's days are not so far away...most probably in Telecommunication and IT
5. It depends mainly on how in the coming years India's economic growth rate stands.Increase in population may be a great obstacle. Moreover domestic unrest,terrorism, factionalism, regionalism all these play an important role in India's true progress to overcome China. It is true today's china is more ahead of India .However China also has its own domestic problems.However we can hope one day our India will definitely emerge as the largest Asian giant!!
6. In 1947, China's economy was decades behind India's. Now it is decades ahead of India. It is because India does not have a government (who knows how to govern) since 1947 except for a five year gap. It will take BJP's continuous rule for at least 40 years for India to surpass China which I don't think can happen. Indian National corruption party may not know how to govern but they sure know how to get votes.
