Can i provide a school transfer certificate in lieu of proof of birth document for applying an indian passport?

I want to apply for an Indian Passport. I have my +2 Mark Sheet along with my Degree certificate and mark list, School Transfer certificate (Duplicate) and 1 year running bank account statement with bank letter. Can i get a passport? I dont have my 10th Mark List and my Driver License and ration card has my old address.

1. yes, you can apply with the school transfer certificate.
2. you do not have original school leaving certificate -unless you procured a duplicate(not a photocopy or a true copy) one from the school. if you are born before 1 jan 1989,you can use that as a supporting document for proof of DOB.. for proof of residence,bank passbook is accepted.
