1. Neither SHOULD win, war is bad, and only the innocent die.
2. If overall aspects are covered, the chinese have a 70% chance of winning it. But it is known that Chinese small arms are in-effective and outdated[ maybe improving now]..and they have very less combat experience when compared to Indian Army. Indian Army has a great advantage of combat exposure in all kinds of terrains and situations.... also Indian Navy can easily rip apart Chinese Navy. But the Chinese Air force, even though inferior to the Indian Airforce in quality and technology, has HUGE numbers and regional allies[ for bases]and advantages. A short battle could see Indians having upper hand... but a longer one will most definitely keep chinese better placed. Anyways, the international pressure wont let any of this happen. :)
3. Good question. Both countries have over a billion people. I would say India only because their weapons are more modern than the chinese.
