Could India's economy and military surpass China's in the future?

Both have high growth rates and powerful military with China coming out on top on both fields. However, some economists and military experts say that one day India will surpass China in Economic and military might. Having said that,China is expected to become the world's largest economy as well as having military expenditures 3 times more than India's each year. Do you think that eventually India could surpass China (in terms of the economy)? In military, India is developing ICBMs whereas China already has them running.China has a "reported" (they are very secretive) nuclear arsenal of 250-300 nukes, whereas India only has 50-70. Using its powerful economy,China says that it will increase military expenditures each year. Currently, China is ranked above India in military power. Do you think that India's military could one day surpass China's? Let me know what you think

1. As long as conditions in India get better then yeah it's possible. But right now i think China will remain above India.
2. It is possible, but I HIGHLY doubt it will ever happen. India is not nearly as powerful as China, not to mention, much more poor.
3. There is lot of corruption in India. If they'll control the corruption, they can beat any country in the world.
4. Well India's economy will definitely surpass china's some day maybe a little past 2050. Now the military could be also be done india's not that far behind china. But india needs to take advantage of it's cheap labor attract companies to build factories. India needs to invest in new power plants, bridges roads, and especially high speed rail and i mean a lot of high speed rail because india's trains are crammed full of people. As for the military india definitely needs to work on it's Navy go for nuclear submarines, air craft carriers ICBMs are outdated the U.S. doesn't use them any more and I don't think Russia does either. As for india's space program they beat the U.S. by three months and found out there was lot of water on the moon first. That's incredible when you beat the U.S. to some thing. Also India doesn't need to many more nukes 70-100 is enough. So for right now india needs to invest a lot infrastructure mainly high speed rail and a whole lot in high speed rail.
