Natural Sleep Aids in India?

Ok so I have always had a problem falling asleep. I am 24 now and I have experienced this problem since the age of 14. Whenever this problem becomes chronic, I visit a psychiatrist and he prescribes a hypnotic. I take hypnotics only when I am not able to fall asleep after hours of trying. I usually take Zolpidem but to tell you the truth, even though I have such a problem I am actually against taking such drugs. I am from India and from the past one year I have been trying to find a sleep aid which is relatively safe and isn't addictive. Maybe something thats natural? I know in countries like US etc you get supplements like Melatonin, 5HTP, Valerian etc. But I can't find any of these here in India. So my only hope is someone out here who might know of a sleep aid available in India. I know there are millions of people here in India who suffer from insomnia so it would be just unfair to find out no body knows of any such thing that's available here. And why exactly aren't products like 5HTP made available in India? This is ironic because systems of medicines like Unani and Ayurvedic have there roots in India and all they believe in are products that are natural and organic. Yet natural, organic products like 5HTP, Melatonin aren't available here? WHY GOD WHY??!!

  2. You are 24. Are you doing physical exercise regularly? Because exercise and rest( sleep) are relative resultant actions. Each part of body needs regular warming up. To activate those millions of cells in your body, body needs regular systematic physical exercise. Medicines have limited power. Exercise will give you that power. Yoga is best you start with Yoga. Start with 15 minutes. Shavasan in Yoga is best. Your body has a gifted CPU, mother board, body clock, hard disc, button cell, power unit, when you switch on your computer its first function is your commuter booting each device is tested with given command. Your computer tests all those devices. So when you get up you do at lease one hour exercise. Medicines are next. This is what doctors say.
