What is worse, a U.S. consumer buying a product made in India or China?

I was in the store today and I couldn't decide between two apparently identical items. One product was made in China and the other was made in India. I live in the United States of America and I'm proud of it. I always try to purchase American made products but in this case I had no choice but to support India or china. Buy the way, I didn't buy either one.

1. Why would either be worse, its fine to buy anything from either of them. Somethings may be better made in other countries but your not supporting much from buying
