Is real estate a good field to make money? in indian market.i mean.?

Hi there!! Can u tell me abt career as a property dealer. I live in New Delhi, India and taking abt Indian real estate market. I can also invest money. am thinking if circulating my money like buying a shop or flat and then selling it off in a month or two and in which i make 1-2 lakh rupees as profit easily. so 1-2 lakhs in 2 -3 months at the most is not bad for me. even if the market is low. and now a day property times (newspapers and magazines on property are there which tell u where the market is hot all over india. so one can go there and invest be in the hottest of the market every month of the year.and there are channels also like Zee business which keep telling abt the property market. and one can keep circulating that same money and make profits and also earn commission from deals which other people do thru me. 2% of the total amount value of the deal. Well property prices are generally in Lakhs of rupees so the 2% also is very high and even !% is also very high. and by providing tenents also to the property owners. cos i am thinking of being a property dealer. So can u educate me about the +ves and -ves of this field. according to you. As far as i am concerned. have heard that this profession requires goons or lots of muscle and there is lots of frauds and you have to be really shrewd to do business in this field and this is a very dirty field to be in .   1. Unlike other countries, in India real estate prices always maintain upward trend. But there is less liquidity. You may have to wait for months or years to get a customer at the price you ask. Buy land in less developed areas, wait for 5 years, sell at price 3-5 times higher. You have to guard it from encroachment. Caution: it is in unorganized sector. Book a flat at the beginning of construction. Pay installments with completion of every floor. Your flat will be ready after say 1.5 years. By that time per sq. ft. price will appreciate by say 20%. Also a ready flat is more expensive and sales easily. Cancel your booking, you need not spend in registration; sell it as a hot cake.
  2. Ya for sure you can get a lot of profit if you buy an indian property and resale it further after some period. Best of luck.
  3. If you are dealing with straight forward properties, you can do decent business and earn to your capacity!
