Is yahoo finance a tool to make transactions in vehicle purchases where YF holds the money for participants?

I wanted to buy a used car from someone online they want me to give them my name and address so they can set up a transaction with yahoo finance where the money would be held until I received the vehicle and they want to ship it to me, is this a scam?

2. Yahoo Finance reports on business news, it does not hold any money. This is a scam. Do not give your name and address. Yahoo has a warning on their autos page about these scams http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/autos/buying/autos-52.html Never buy a car you cant see in person, test drive, have a mechanic check, and verify the seller's ID is the same exact name as on the title. There are too many online scams. The most common is there is no car, you pay money they disappear. Or they are thieves selling stolen cars which you dont discover til you go to register it and the car is taken from you and returned to the owner
