Why is there a Currency difference?

Don't you think It would be fairer to all the people of the world, if the currency value is equal. It's not like the people in undeveloped countries are working less harder than the developed countries. Let's say two carpenter in two difference country (one in India and another in Europe). They're doing the same amount of job with the same quality. However their earnings are different. One is receiving 1000 euro, while the indian only receive 1000 rupee. I don't think it is fair. Don't say anything about cost of living or what....1000 euro is still like how many times of 1000 rupee..

  1. Nations want to control thier own economy,so they print thier own currency. It's value is determined by relative wealth and financial influence of that country on international markets.
  2. You are describing a socialist fantasy that would never work.
