Is there any working problems/labour issues in srilanka..mainly in EPZ near colombo, at Katunayake?

I want to know regarding the working conditions in Sri Lanka, mainlt at Free Trade Zone area near International airport at Katunayake? Why i am asking because i have been offered one job in this area for managing one complete factory as plant head? I am planning to relocate with my family from India. So it is very importatnt for me to know on these things/...... pelase support if anyone can My questions are: 1. is there any labour problems in factories..if yes then what sort of problems mainly? 2. Is there any unions with big rules and regulations? 3. How is the support from companies staff to expatriate managers and how is day today working conditions? 4. Wht is the level of stress in the working for the manages or head in some manufactuing sector companies? 5. Any other issues related to working in Srinlanka?

1. In private section its completly free,no labour issues or problems.But in government they have some unions which hang out with one political party(jvp) which caurse some pronlems.But i assure you nothing in private sector.Specially in FTZ in katunayaka and Biyagama.They are very indipandant and never heard about any problem in those areas.
