- India and Brazil we shouldn't worry about. I'd say China and Russia, they have ties to Iran and could pose the biggest risk.
- china
- Mexico. If America isn't careful, the west and southwest would look like Mexico in a few years.
- China, both economically and militarily.
- right wing fringe pose the biggest threat to America.
- America.
- China of course, we owe them the most, and they have the cheapest labor and most production. America is losing any and about all factory production because Unions are so greedy! Unions are destroying America- sad hah? Some unions strike wanting over 100 bucks an hour- that forces business to LEAVE the country. Obama wants more UNIONS? WHAT THE? He knows- supports Unions because he wants other countries to benifit and America to crumble- hes a radical Anti-American!
- My thoughts, number 1 being the actual greatest threat to the US and five being the smallest. 1. China 2. Russia 3. India 4. Brazil
- I dont see how there is any "challenge" to america. yall do realize chinas economy is smaller than Californias right? The boom in the Chinese economy which has been artifically driven by stimulus and not by organic growth, sounds familiar, is starting to show some cracks. With a huge oversupply of retail and office space already weighing on the economy, now production is starting to weaken. "While still in expansion, overcapacity in manufacturing, wage pressure and more restrained government spending may have affected sentiment among purchasing managers," said Jign Ulrich, chairman of China equities and commodities at J.P. Morgan. Read More. http://www.cnbc.com/id/35636365
- Possibly China, but China's economic growth is completely unsustainable. The age and gender gaps in China are going to screw them in about 30-40 years. Their environment likely will have collapsed by then, and they will be drowning in their own healthcare costs (pollution-related health issues). The birth rate is extremely low, which means that the current population is not being replaced. Once the current workers get old and retire, there will not be a sufficient workforce to work the factories. India still has a booming birth rate, but is probably growing too fast for its own good (the opposite of China). Most of India's growth is in the services sector, but it needs more manufacturing in order to keep up with the world economy. Brazil is only a challenge if it teams up with somebody else. Russia is still stuck in the 80s.
- China... America created a monster- we gave China our technology, moved our plants to China, borrowed vast amounts of money.... China simply is a number one importer to US...
- Not India, India is a great partner. Not brazil because it is in North America and US friendly. Not China because well Walmart and we are their biggest customer. I would say Russia. Russia as a growing economy and with a lot of government corruption is unpredictable. But overall the US would work with all of these countries.
- China, have the biggest population, just started a space program and have bought up tonnes of farms and mines in Africa. They will have plenty of resources to fuel an ever increasing middle class. India will tend to be friends with UK and therefor USA. The only real threat is if Pakistan is taken over by terrorist or extremist groups and damage india with nukes. Brazil has very good farms, tonnes of resources, but i feel a little too isolated, if it join forces with argentina then perhaps there is something to worry about, but not really. Russia has really gone down hill since the cold war, but should always be watched, just in case.
- The biggest challenge to America is Iran because we have no leverage with them. They will go nuclear and they will use it
