Husband and wife started the day early having set their alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN ) for 6 am.While the coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA )was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG ) while she saved with hers (Made in Japan). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA ), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE ) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA ) while she put in a dress suit (MADE IN INDONESIA) After cooking their breakfast in a new electric skillet(MADE IN INDIA ) he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO ) to see how much they could spend today. After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN ) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA ) they got in their car (MADE IN GERMANY ) filled it with GAS (from Saudi Arabia ) and continued their search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day checking they went home as he got in the Computer (made in MALAYSIA ), afterwords he decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL ), poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE ) and turned on the TV (MADE IN INDONESIA ), and then wondered why they can't find a good paying job in AMERICA AND NOW THEY ARE HOPING THEY CAN GET HELP FROM A PRESIDENT MADE IN KENYA.

1. But would you be willing to pay more than 99cents for the items? Making something in America will never be as cheap and Americans love their Walmart prices. Self-perpetuating cycle. And Barack Obama's international heritage means that he has a better understanding of the world. Something most Americans are missing.
