how are foreign banks giving competition on indian banks in india?

Public Comments

  1. NO. JUST THE REVERSE. INDIAN BANKS ARE POSING TO BE COMPETITIVE TO FOREIGN BANKS.
  2. It is very simple. The current interest rate on deposits in these countries is as little as 3.5%. The lending rates in India is as much as 12%, The difference is Bank's profit. Yes, Indian Banks are posing threat in foreign countries, but it is only very limited. Best of luck.
  3. Earlier only foreign banks had latest technology which facilitated customers in transacting bank's account. Now the Indian banks also has the same facilities like Internet banking , RTGS AND NEFT facility,ATM and CTS etc. But Indian banks are termed as secured . In the past many foreign banks were failed and the money of the depositors were either blocked or could not recover. Hence foreign banks are NOT THREAT for INDIAN BANKS.
