What is the role of a probationary officer in Indian Banks?

I would like to know who is eligible, what is the job profile and what kind of growth can be expected

1. It is supportive role in all disciplines of banking with hands on experience. Minimum graduation is required. Salary is not great but perquisites are good. Growth depends on the individuals capacity.
