When moving out of India , How much Indian currency can we carry legally with us.?

I want to move to go to saudi for a job. so can you please tell me how much rupees can i carry with me.

1. Any resident Indian if goes outside India can take a maximum of INR 5000 with him to any country.
2. Hi, You can carry Rs.5000 while going out of country from India. but in any case if you are carrying more money then you simply need to inform them and have to fill declaration form available with authorized person.
