World,India,Indian Parties and Indian Leaders have scant regards on suffering Lankan Tamils.Something Unique?

No Country, Indian state,parties,leaders has registered a protest,except a few parties and leaders in Tamil Nadu,against Sri Lankan Government in the ongoing offensive against Tamil Separatist rather innocent Tamils,as for Army is concerned every Tamil,young or old,male or female, abled or disabled,healthy or sick,rich or poor,educated or uneducated,pro or anti,blind,deaf or dumb,daring or a coward,refugee or a rounded up,fat or lean,clean or dirty,smiling or crying,handsome or ugly,normal or mentally retarded,just born child or child in the womb -- it seems to be a Tamil Tiger.They don't spare anyone. If you read the history,Tamils have many firsts and achievements. They are the ancient people having ancient language Tamil like Sanskrit,Latin,Hebrew etc; Right from coveted Nobel to Oscar they have won and brought laurels first to India, then to Tamils. Their Maritime trade is first in India,many centuries back. Their contribution to sports like Chess,Tennis still intact. Tamil was the first Indian(may be Asian) language The Bible was translated(in 16th century). The list is endless. And this is the first time in the World History that Innocent Tamils in war zone are left in the lurch to meet their own fate in the form of death or injury. NO ONE has consoled,responded,reciprocated,replied,acknowledged,vouched, felt,protested or any suitable word in the dictionary. NOT ONLY FOR SRI LANKAN ARMY BUT FOR THE WHOLE WORLD "EVEN A GULLIBLE TAMIL SEEMS TO BE A TIGER".

1. It is a pity that no one is bothered about the plight of these innocent people. I do not call them tamils. They are all human beings, targeted not for their fault. India has done its bit, by supplying medicines and food. It has pressurised the Srilankan Government to take care of innocent civilians. As you mentioned the firsts, and have many firsts in the negative lists. Terrorism in srilanka, assassination of Indian prime minister on Indian soil etc. How can you expect, India to sympathize with the group, which has assassinated the Indian Prime Minister? If you go to rome, be a roman, if you do not, this is what will happen. As the terrorism is over, let us hope & pray, the innocent civilians will lead a normal life, as responsible citizens of that country. VIOLENCE ENDS ONLY IN VIOLENCE. AS YOU SOW, SO YOU REAP. WHY DID MAHATHMA GANDHI LED THE BLOODLESS REVOLUTION? HE FORESAW THAT VIOLENCE ENDS ONLY IN VIOLENCE. INDIA, WITH GREAT DIFFICULTY ACHIEVED INDEPENDENCE WITHOUT BLOODSHED. I HOPE THAT PEACE WILL BE THE MANTRA OF BUDDHA`S LAND AND ALL THE CITIZENS LIVE AND LEAD A GOOD LIFE.
2. well according to part of my family, who have gone through alot of this war, before immigrating, i think India (well at least the northern area) are doing something about the war, by supporting the singhalese government. I dont know if you heard but apparently they supplied the government with better equipment and radars to help surround the Tamil Tigers. It amazing that they dont even seem to be concerned about all the innocent civilians being killed or injured in this. Though apparently the southern areas of india are not supplying weapons to the government of sri lanka, this is probably because they are more closely linked to the tamils, they do share the same language after all. My uncle was even taken prisoner by the sri lankan government (for no apparent reason, they accused him of being a terrorist simply because he was tamil) and eventually my father managed to get him out and he sent him to immigrate with him. It is very horrible whats happening there and, in a away, its almost like a genocide. These innocent people shouldnt have to pay the price for an age-old grudge between the two races. It really isnt fair.
3. True. Tamils are such great creed. Then why did they chose to guns. They could have followed non-violent methods like Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela. This process may put him behind bars where life would be miserable. He was worried that he might have to suffer like Angsuki. Mr. Prabhakaran preferred to enjoy life as a king than to ultimate welfare of Tamils. He was happy ruling the small northern areas. He did every uncivilized act to keep himself at the helm of affairs. Who in the world would like to supports such a barbarian just because he is a Tamil. He is bringing disrespect to Tamils by using ' Tamil Tigers' word and claiming to be working for Tamils. Show me a line in your endless list which preaches endless list of LTTE violence against state and humanity. No wonder if none supports.
