The NWO - China's economy now third biggest and India's growing?
is it safe for these two nations to grow? why can't they just let peace and freedom prevail? i think the world has a dangerous future.

- Oh no, they might start using resources for themselves instead of being exploited by us white people. I'm scared, hold me!
- India is a Democracy with a Capitalist economy. China is a Communist government that is moving toward Capitalism. And we ourselves only have a week left before the most Socialist President to have ever held the job leaves. So the world seems to be moving toward Democracy. If you feel that means a dangerous future, well I guess you can hold that opinion. That's part of Democracy as well.
- Peace and freedom= what we do? Patriot Act? Guatemalan Government Contributions? Bay of Pigs? Kosovo? We, as America, give freedom to very few other countries. And often times, take it from ourselves. I am not asking you to view this from your perspective, but steps back, from a neutral, world perspective. NWO, possibly. Am I TOO worried, will our individual lives change? Eh, not so sure.
- I don't think China and India could be as dangerous as the current powers that lead the world.
- I think the only problem in this case is if these nations (including America) keep growing and consuming at a rate that depletes the world of its natural resources beyond a recoverable point. In this modern era, it can happen a lot easier than you think.
- They aren't the ones taking over. Here is a list I got from a website. http://www.socialistinternational.org/viewArticle.cfm?ArticleID=1779
- Yes, it is safe for India to grow provided they do not enter in a larger conflict with Pakistan. I am optimistic about their economy. They offer a large degree of social freedom and they have a thriving film industry. I'm always optimistic about a country of that sort. China is growing economically but I do not believe they pose a significant threat to their neighbors - at least not so much as in the past. They are still permissive of human rights violations within their own country but they do not seem to mess with foreigners (save Tibet, if you believe that should be an autonomous area). Of the countries I am most concerned about - beware Iran and Russia. The former is biding their time to annihilate Israel, while the later seems to be tapping into its Soviet roots. I think we should be extremely concerned about our own country and its perspective among people of the world. If we lose credibility over a largely unnecessary war and Iraq destabilizes the Middle East, we will shrink in influence. We must also fight terrorism (read: Islamic extremists attacking civilians in our own cities) and distinguish between pre-emptive wars (mostly unnecessary) and real attacks on our security. Legend in your own mind : There are two questions here. Does China abuse its own people ? I would say 'yes' in many cases. But the second question, are they a threat to our security ? I would answer mostly no at this time. Our interdependent trade has had a positive effect on our relationship with their country. We want goods - they want dollars. It works to everyone's advantage.
- To those without a lot of knowledge of China and those who think they know, it is still very much a communist state and the government there is an extremely brutal and oppressive regime, but keep thinking they're good capitalists, fine, but remember people there have no voice in much of anything. I hate the fact that we do business there. it's VERY dangerous to our way of life and if you even think China's communists are about to relent willingly and become a democratically elected bunch you better get your head out of your fantasy anus.. Begin with the Nine Commentaries, but i know very few of you will ever bother. You're above that. Did anyone even know a nuclear explosion occurred during the big quake last summer? Probably not... http://ninecommentaries.com
- Why should it worry you so after all you probably have a cart load of chinese goods you have bought.
- I like the way you equate peace and freedom with China and India having a subservient economic role in world affairs. I take it to mean that they should know their place right? What exactly are you scared of? China is now the worlds biggest economy and owns the US and most of Europe, along with India and the Gulf states. They call the shots now.
- The bigger they are the harder they will fall. Climate change will not allow the vast economies and consumption of energy of the past . To try to emulate the past will result in disaster on a global scale . all countries will have to learn to live within there means of go under . We wil be lucky to survive the next hundred years and with mans greed i do not think we will make it. It was a toss up between mammals and insects from the the end of the reptiles , So being that insects are more practical and organised than us and better equipped to handle any climate perhaps they will be the next force in the world.
