Where are those Economy Geniuses who advised 'outsourcing' manufacturing jobs to India & China?
355,000 people lost jobs in the past 4 weeks. And yet no one can fire George W. Bush fast enough.

- The same Keynsians who support the Federal Reserve! I think the people you are referring to are hiding in plain site...look in the capitol building!
- They did that so some schlock could by cheap goods, Cuba can't make a profit on sugar, Che they warms me up,
- I certainly agree that Bush is an idiot, but he has absolutely nothing to do with outsourcing jobs. The Officers (CEO, CFO, COO, etc) of Companies are doing it to save money for their businesses. Simple as that. They do not care about how well a job is done, they are doing it just because of the savings.
- Thank your union masters for most of that. They have single handedly driven more jobs off shore than any other factor with their outrageous wage demands for their membership who otherwise should be flipping burgers for $8 an hr at Mickey D's.
- see CEOs who make billions off of paying 1/10th the salaries...
- Our manufacturing jobs aren't going to China and India. We aren't losing them to Chinese and Indians, we are losing them to robots and automation. We are innovating ourselves out of jobs, not outsourcing them. It costs businesses too much to build these products elsewhere and then ship them here, especially when the cost of oil was so high and will be going back up. The problem is that these businesses are automating wherever they can, and that has cost us some jobs. That means those Middle Class employees don't have any money coming in to fuel the Middle Class consumer spending, so they quit buying products from other businesses. That causes other businesses to lay off employees because they aren't making any money; which in turn causes their employees to quit buying when they also have no money coming in. It's our innovation that is killing us; we are making the American worker unnecessary to the process. Unfortunately, that has the added side effect of making the Middle Class customer non-existent.
- With this prime labor market at our finger tips, wouldn't it be a fine time to reestablish manufacturing? The Chinese certainly have major problems even with the small stuff, this would be a great time to take back the manufacturing taken from us by greedy businesss owners who's only thoughts are bigger profits and cheapened products. It's time for the smart money to re-invest in America's manufacturing genius, and get away from the crap China throws at us, called a widget !
- They're the guys who are now in charge of bailing out the banks and brokerages to the tune of trillions and more nice big bonuses, AKA their buddies. They said outsourcing would be good for us, I believe the reality of that has become all to obvious, what they meant was it would be good for them!!.
- Well Obamas first job out of college, was for a company that helped other companies out source jobs. What does Bush have to do with out sourcing ?
