whats indian money called?
im doing a project and part of it says that if something costs $AUS26.50 what would it be in indian i worked out it would be 1,037.98 rupees but i have to draw what money i would use. i found pictures for they 1,037 bit but i don't no what they call cents so i cant find the .98 bit what do they call cents? sorry wrong catagory.

- They have small denomination coins also aside from paper money like the yen in Japan it all refered to as rupees or yen in Japan.
- Indian paper currency is the Rupee and the coins are called Paisa.
