3. The new format of T20 is a big reason for crickets new found popularity. India realised this and cashed in with the IPL and ICL. I for one hope that T20 is not included in the Olympics because it does not belong their, just like tennis and basketball don't belong in their.

T20 being included in the Olympics is long journey to go.T20 is a format which BCCI failed to recognize, initially.They started in competition to the ICL But T20 has largely contributed in maintaining popularity

7. Well, you can say, IPL , ICL and CL have increased the popularity of T20 cricket in a way. But, cricket has always been a popular sport.The only constraint for not getting entry in Olympics was the time required for one match to get over in cricket. So, it was not feasible earlier. Now that T20 games get over in 3 hrs, and is well liked by many all round the world, cricket could well enter in Olympics!

9. I heard Gilly saying something about T20 entering the olympics. He was helping promote it and get it in. I think the olympics of 2020 were mentioned. They think it's a clever plan to have 20/20 Cricket entered in the 2020 Olympic Games, lol, I guess its a good marketing idea.
