I've found plenty of papers on whether the Chinese currency is undervalued or not, what China should do about its exchange rate policy and what the effects are of China's current exchange rate regime. However, it seems hard to find more information about China's current regime. Especially publications from a scientific source (like IMF, IIE, EconPapers, CEPII, World Bank, universities, etc.). Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm looking for an overview of current exchange rate policy and perhaps the capital controls that are in place. Thanks!
