Is S.Patil's resighination enough as an appology for the attacks in mumbia?

he has cost India many lost lives and millions maybe billions of Rupee's in Stock exchange losses, money lost for two days as ppl were to scared to go to work and Bussinesses not opening, and the amount of damage done to the Indian tourist industry. Is just him resighning enough? as after all he can carry on his normal life but others who died and made losses in economy can not. What do you think?

1. Not at all. If resignations can solve such issues,let all politicians resign and solve this problem forever. Patil resignation is just a showpiece. Anyhow Congress term is near to end. Lok Sabha elections are near.
2. I think you've got it all wrong.His resignation will in no way bring the lives of those men and women who died on that day back to life. Also,resignation just means that the Politicians have a scape Goat and the press have some thing to write about. I really don't see how this changes the fact that our National Security is not taken seriously.With all the money that we spend on Military hardware,why is it that I don't see professionally trained officers in the Police who are actually fit and resourceful enough to handle hostage situations without the help of every special ops teams in the Indian armed forces. The blame game has to stop! The terrorists who killed those innocent people are the ones responsible.Lets be rational and work towards ensuring our security instead of talking about what should have been done and what wasn't.What we can learn from Mumbai is that their are gaps in our National Security,we need better intelligent agencies. When 9/11 happened i don't think anyone in Bush's cabinet resigned !Stead they took action.All i want to see is action not Politicians resigning,that makes no difference whatsoever in my mind.

If you are referring to Terrorist Attacks in Mumbai, my view are as below: I do not want to Light a Candle to bury the remembrance of those who died.My heart is full of Anger, Pain, Resentment & Revenge. I see no Victory........I see no reason to Celebrate......... I see no reason to hoist my National Tri colour outside Taj Hotel .......... 10 Terrorists had the power to make the entire Nation go crazy for 60 Hours.We must fight back. If the Government cannot save us, Let the Army rule this country. The subtle speeches of our PM & President fail to extinguish my fire of Anger. For the first time in my Life, I did not feel proud to be an Indian. A country that is unsafe, volatile & full of corrupt leaders. It is time to wake up. 9. Patils resignation is not intended to apologize …Sharad pawar force him to do so (even public outcry don’t bother him) if you know his statement regarding it the other day ….He resigne to keep the word of Mr.Sharad pawar and nothing else ....
