India's Bank Trade Unions call strikes & then call them off routinely without any axhievements, why?

Relevant & to the point answers only to why the Bank related TUs even after coming together under the banner of UBFU are without strength and have shown no resolve to reach their legitimate ends. In a routine way they draw agitational programme and allow it to fade away, without clinching anything worthwhile.

1. That is how Government offices work. It is one way in which they want to take 'paid holidays' and shirk genuine responsibilities.
2. Ssshows hollow threats. the adage -- increase my salary otherwise.......................i will continue at the existing salary When govt tells these johnies u will be thrown out of job they come to senses They are verbal duals which employees know can not work , but old habits die hard
