How Modern education in india has made people literate but not educated?

1. In Indian education,its basically memorizing things.Pointless screaming of 50 kids in every class who want to try to memorize something.No individuality and no character building. Basically,the moment you're in preschool,your classmates are your rivals,even your friends.You have to be on top no matter what,and your parents will pressure you with that. But the majority of students don't make it all the way and finish their education.They quit,but they manage to get literate. Hey! Its difficult to educate a billion people.
