Can I buy the new TATA Nano Car from India, here in the US? Is it selling for less than $2500 US Dollars?

I heard that there is a brand new car made in India called the Tata Nano, It is supposed to be super great on gas and sell for only 100,000 Rupees which is well under $2500 USD. Can I buy it in the US?

1. by the time you import it it will cost much more and wont even be worth it... besides i remember reading about that car and its the bare minimum i really dont think it could last very long on the highways
2. No. The car is for the India domestic market only. It would never pass the U.S. emissions or safety standards.
