cars made in India?

I keep hearing commentators talk about how India is poised to take over the world auto market. what have i missed? what's going on there?

1. Do a search for "air car," "Tata Motors," or "compressed air car". Tata is the name of the company that makes them. They also recently bought Jaguar from Ford.
2. No, India isn't going to take over the world, China has already does this. TATA is the world's 20th largest automaker, based on figures for 2006. And as depressed as GM and Ford are, they still out sell TATA by a long shot.
