Dear Sir, as per Reserve Bank of India rules, what is the maximum limit?
a person can deposit the amount in his name in any indian bank. The person is not having PAN Card.

- You can deposit upto INR 50,000/- cash in your account if you don't have PAN card. This according to RBI circular Aug 2002.
- You can deposit as much money as you like to any bank account. But as single transaction, you can only transact Rs:49000 or below it. If you have 50000 or above you may split it in multiples of 49000 or below it and deposit each with different pay in slips.
