Dear Sir, as per Reserve Bank of India rules, what is the maximum limit?

a person can deposit the amount in his name in any indian bank. The person is not having PAN Card.

  1. Up to Rs.50,000/=.
  2. You can deposit upto INR 50,000/- cash in your account if you don't have PAN card. This according to RBI circular Aug 2002.
  3. You can deposit as much money as you like to any bank account. But as single transaction, you can only transact Rs:49000 or below it. If you have 50000 or above you may split it in multiples of 49000 or below it and deposit each with different pay in slips.
