1. u can go for tata indica diesel or the indigo but if u want it little light on pocket u could go for maruti esteem diesel.
2. indica, if maintained well by your dealer. it used to give me 22-30 km/ltr on highway. but now its less as it was on the service station for 12 days. don't know what they are doing with such a good car
