baby car seats in india?

I would like to buy a baby car seat for my one year old daughter. Is any one make that in india. Can i fit that in my chevy spark car ? where can i find more details thanks jayapprakash

1. There are several available in Shoppers Stop / Mother Care stores. You can get baby seats/carry ons for smaller babies as well as booster seats for older childern. I am not sure if your car (Chevy Spark) has a ISOFix attachment (I do not think it is standard in India yet) for fitting the seat up. But most of the child seats would have a way to fit it using the existing seat belt. Check the user manual of the baby seat before you buy to find out ways of fitting it on to your car seat. There would be pictorial description of how to fit it. I have a Mother Care booster seat for my kid which has slots through which you need to channel the seat belt before latching it accross your childs chest. That keeps both the child as well as the booster seat in place.
