- yeah it cost more than that..
- Yes, but you get what you pay for. if your lucky it will come with air in the tires.
- its made of metal like every other car! although it doesnt have air conditioning, it only has one side mirror, no rear veiw mirror, no spare tire, no nothing!
- Yeah! It is tottaly true i'm from india but i live in the United States i visited india recently and my relatives talked about it its a really nice car but it doesnt have that many luxuries the point of it is so the middle lower class of india can afford cars that previously could never do so.. i doubt the rain thing is true tho... the car comes out in september?
- No. It's made of normal materials. Tata Motors, the company making the Nano, is part of the Tata Group, which also includes steelmaker Corus (formerly British Steel), so they have easy access to steel. It will be engineered to cope with an Indian monsoon.
- Yes, the price is right. And as far as i heard, the quality isn't even as bad as you would think. It's main weakness is it's bad crashtest-result... (After a crash, there's nearly no car left ^^). At first this car will only be produced for india. It will take a few more years, until they start to also export them. The price in other countries is said to differ lagely from the indian price! In many countries the cars will even have to be changed a lot, to even get a license to be sold there. (Crashtestresults, emission of hazardous substances,...)
- It's made of steel just like any other car. All I know is it has about 35 hp...so no one in the U.S. will ever want one....unless you need a go-cart for your kid.
- Yeah,...but on the upside......you can fold it up like luggage and get it through the security detectors at the airport.
- there was just enough room in the back to violate an indian midget. oly out.
- You get what you pay for.
- It wouldn't surprise me what comes out of India. A country that's main focus is profit and life over there is not valued as much as it is in other countries, standards .are lower. I would do a check on the net if you want to find out
