If computer products labeled "made in America", were really made in India, would you buy them?
Yes? No?

- why not? Is that not globalization.
- Probably more so.
- This is an interesting question which probably has many facets. First off, most, if not all laptops are made in China with parts from all over the world. My HP laptop has components from Taiwan (hard drive), Korea (Samsung memory) and who knows where the screen originated but it is made by Sharp. Desktops, don't even get me started on Desktops, they are even more diverse than laptops are. Though eMachines are manufactured in China they use the cheapest hard drives and memory they can find. But cheap does not always mean less reliable or poorly made anymore. I guess my point is, even if it said Made in America it wouldn't have been, maybe "Assembled in America" is more appropriate because there is no way all the parts in any product, including computers originated in one and only one country.
- yes wats wrong with india.
- If the computer says made in America, then it is made in America..It is against the law to say made in America, and it's not..I don't know where you got that idea, it's a goverment agency, that approves them, made in America..
