what benifites can india gain by making trade relations with china?

1. I dont think India will gain from trading with China,except getting some goods cheaper than those made in India or elsewhere, probably the Chinese will benefit more due to the huge market India is. Cheaper Chinese imports will lead to closure of Indian factories but Indian consumers will benefit from cheaper prices leading to competition with Indian companies who will then have to cut costs to survive.
