India+China?

What is the Relation between India and China? Peaceful? Strong Political Allies? Political Enemies? In Ancient Times, the Indian Civilizations can be argued as more advanced as the Chinese, but the chinese traded with India more than any other nation in the world at that time. Mostly because barley anyone knew anything about India/China, they were far off in the east.

Well, I read in today's news that Tibetan monks are protesting China-India relationship because they want India to break ties with China. This is difficult for them because India and China trade is worth billions. I think they are in a sticky situation because of Tibetan monks (I think they originated from China) living in New Dehli. I'm sorry if im not much of a help. Ive been living under a rock for the past few years and I just started getting into current events.
The relationship is that they both are burgeoning industrial powers. As the US dollar goes down, and India and China expand their purchase of energy materials, they will both be rising stars in the international industrial arena. Companies will begin to start operations there the way they did here years ago.
Lets put it this way. The reason why China invaded and took over Tibet is because they wanted to have a "perch" upon which they could monitor their Indian neighbors.
India and china are cool with each other...I mean the future is pretty my China and India...
