what kind of companies trade in bombay stock exchange and national stock exchange of India?

whether listed and unlisted companies?and what is lot trading?can anyone send me a link having the boom n recession period of these stock exchanges?thnx a lot thnx venu for 4 link but i hv already checked it....i need to knw d ans 2 dis particular ques only wich i m nt able 2 find.....

4. how can a unlisted company be traded in a stock exchange., It is quite obvious from the wording itself that only listed companies can be trade in a stock exchange.
