I have heard a few comments about work in Indian IT Companies. I wanted to verify if they are true. 1. Unethical - Majority of the freshers try to go up the ladder faster than the other. As a result, the less assertive but equally eligible candidates fall back. 2. Work to earn money. - Due to various financial constraints, people give more priority to their individual life, rather than fully committing themselves to their group and company 3. No research - If a person wants to get into research, he has to make himself a favourite amoung his peer and superiors. His passion for research is secondary. 4. Time - Lots of blabbering about who got which promotion. Who went to US, UK etc? Inquisitive. 5. The certificate value - If a person is an MS from US, IITian etc... he is given more priority than an otherwise more eligible candidate. 6. Discrimination - North Indians, South Indians etc. Kindly share your experience. Thanks.
