What are the indians proud of india's economy? Even phillipines gdp is more than india? And the real per capita gdp is probably much lesser than $2900. Its $2900 probably due to the wealth of ambanis and tatas and bajajs and khans and few others. Millions of indians still live in abject poverty. I live in such a town. I mentioned phillipines because it is small in size compared to india and it has small population and its an asain country. I didnt wanted to insult phillipines in anyway.
Why are India's politicians unbalancing india's economy and friendships with other nations? India needs to learn from other nations instead of being too over emotional when it comes to politics .I am not australian but the way india treated the australian prime minister of australia julia gillard was wrong and julia gillard looked weak by not asking why the upset and calling a nation a friend that burnt the australian flag.India can become a friend of every nation and good teachers from around the world can help teach india if india is open minded .

How did Monsanto take over India's seed economy? I've read about how the World Bank forced India to open up their seed economy to the global market, but how did this negatively effect India? Couldn't Indian farmers still choose whether or not to use their own seeds rather than pay for Monsanto's single use seeds if it was more expensive in the long run? And if they chose purchasing Monsanto's seeds and it was too costly, couldn't they go back to their own seeds?

When will (if ever) India's economy/military surpass China's? No doubt that both are Asia's largest powers. Both have extremely high growth rates with China coming out on top. However, recently many economists say that India can surpass China at around 2030 if not sooner, how true is this (assuming that the policies are the same)? Also keep in mind factor in Hong Kong and Macau's GDP into China as well (they are part of China) Do you think India will ever surpass China? Both militaries are powerful in Asia.Again right now China seems to have the more superior military (China is viewed as a major military threat by the U.S.) with much more nuclear missiles than India (it is still developing ICBMs). With China's status as number 1 economy in the future as well as increased military expenditures,do you think that China can maintain its status as strongest military in Asia or do you think that India will surpass China's military (as well as economy)? Thank you for your answers
Could India's economy and military surpass China's in the future? Both have high growth rates and powerful military with China coming out on top on both fields. However, some economists and military experts say that one day India will surpass China in Economic and military might. Having said that,China is expected to become the world's largest economy as well as having military expenditures 3 times more than India's each year. Do you think that eventually India could surpass China (in terms of the economy)? In military, India is developing ICBMs whereas China already has them running.China has a "reported" (they are very secretive) nuclear arsenal of 250-300 nukes, whereas India only has 50-70. Using its powerful economy,China says that it will increase military expenditures each year. Currently, China is ranked above India in military power. Do you think that India's military could one day surpass China's? Let me know what you think
